Substantial increases in raw material prices
As a globally leading manufacturer of lighting components and systems, it is our policy to ensure price fluctuations on raw material markets are handled in a responsible manner. As a result, we have succeeded in largely offsetting such price increases for you as a customer with the help of sustainable cost-saving measures. However, we have now arrived at a point at which we can no longer absorb these higher raw material costs, especially with regard to polymers.
For this reason, it has now become necessary to offset a portion of these higher costs by raising the prices of some of our products.

By now, these slim-line SMD PCBs with a width of only 20 mm are available in six lengths with ZHAGAcompliant dimensions and a new generation of SMDs.
Homogeneous light ribbons of almost any length can be created by combining these modules with different lumen packages. Furthermore, these SMD modules come with a service life of 60,000 hours (L80/B10) – and are covered by a 5-year product warranty.

The production capacity at VS Lüdenscheid (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) has just been extended with the installation of a further plastic injection moulding machine.
With the continuous expansion of our machinery park, VS is responding to the constantly growing demand for high quality optics. The respective machine tools are designed and manufactured in-house at VS, which ensures that even larger-scale projects can be implemented in the shortest space of time.
